The primary role and responsibilities of a BMS Engineer (Research & Development) include:

  • As head of new product development, you will be responsible for driving vision, design strategy, and implementation of the current products as well as a new product to support business.
  • Responsible for leading the engineering department, including planning, management, execution, and support of current /new product inclusive of the day-to-day product management, scope management, issue, and risk management as well as regular status reporting.
  • Involve the technical team from the Manufacturing, Design & Engineering Department, and any other stakeholders to know the customer requirements.

    Desired Candidate Profile :

  • Degree/Master in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
  • Total 3-6 years of experience in managing design and development / Battery management in EV or energy Storage, solar batteries.
  • Hands-on experience in managing manufacturing and testing process of lithium-ion battery packs.
  • The candidate should have experience in managing & leading a team.
  • Knowledge of various Li-ion cell chemistry .
  • Experience with battery protection modules and safety standards.

  • Keen knowledge about different materials along with their characteristics.
  • Hands-on in mechanical design software ( modeling, assembly, and drafting).
  • Excellent in Structural, Thermal, Modal analysis.
  • Good understanding of GD&T.
  • Excellent organizational & planning skills to meet agreed project deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge about lithium-ion batteries.
